Once these fundamental aspects are covered, any additional funds can be allocated towards discretionary spending, saving, or investing. When it comes to using discretionary dollars, students have two choices: they can choose to do nothing and keep their money idle (akin to keeping it under a mattress), or they can actively Give money at specific locations on the board in order to potentially Get money.

The Four Corners spaces on the board are crucial as they represent Budgeting. Creating a budget, whether weekly, monthly, or annual, is the initial step towards gaining control over personal finances.
